Aransas Nat'l Wildlife Refuge... is located on a peninsula and serves as a primary winter home for the nearly extinct whooping crane. Whooping Crane boat tours are available. Goose Island State Park... provides tent and trailer camping on this 307 acre park. The park also provides: picnic sites, open shelters, restrooms with showers, fishing pier, and a boat ramp. Fulton Mansion... was built in 1876. This prolific 4 story, 29-room mansion takes you back to a time when the prosperity of the Texas cattle industry was at a peak. Rockport Center for the Arts... is home to over 150 area artist, some of national acclaim.
